Today, the House took up Rep. Howard's HB 280, which would establish a grant program to help prevent violence against nurses in the health care workplace. The bill is the latest step in Rep. Howard's multi-session effort to address such violence.
HB 280 passed on second reading with a vote of 122-21. It comes up for a final vote in the House tomorrow morning, and then it's on to the Senate!
