On Tuesday, the Texas Legislature wrapped up its Special Session. After 29 days, a total of 12 bills had been sent to the Governor's desk, all of which have now been signed into law. Here's a quick summary of those measures, and how Rep. Howard voted on them:

    Rep. Howard Expands Breastfeeding Access at the Capitol

    During the floor debate on the House Rules, Rep. Howard successfully offered an amendment to expand breastfeeding access at the Capitol. Her amendment calls for a secure and private space for breastfeeding near the House Chamber, which will be available to House Members, House staff, and properly-credentialed media. It's an important step toward expanding access for the greater public at the Capitol.
